The Embroiderers’ Guild of America, Inc. is a national non-profit educational organization offering study and preservation of the heritage and art of embroidery. EGA membership is open to anyone interested in needlework, from the beginner to the professional. Membership includes one year subscription to Needle Arts Magazine.
EGA Mission statement: To stimulate appreciation for and celebrate the heritage of embroidery by advancing the highest standards of excellence in its practice through education, exhibition, preservation, collection and research.
Mohawk Valley EGA Purpose: The purpose shall be to promote cooperation and interchange of ideas among those interested in Needlework; to maintain a high standard of technique and design in Needlework, and to stimulate interest in Needle Art in the community.
Annual membership dues for the Mohawk Valley Chapter of EGA are $55 dollars per year. Membership in the Mohawk Valley Chapter of EGA entitles you to meetings, workshops, lectures, and the Valley Viewer (clubs newsletter). It also includes membership in the National EGA with access to it programs such as correspondence courses, master craftsman awards, teacher certification, national seminars, and the quarterly National EGA magazine, Needle Arts.

Meeting Room opens 9:30 for Stitching time. Meeting starts at 10:30am.
The exception to the rule for January and July– when we meet in public for a stitch review. Having a problem check out our calendar and bring your stitch during either month and we can help you achieve success.
